The Mercian 2026 Conference is being held at De Montfort University’s purpose built conference and events centre, The Venue@DMU. Situated just a short walk from Leicester Railway station, close to the historic heart of the city, The Venue is a fantastic venue for our conference, and the The Mercian Collaboration is deeply grateful to De Montfort University for hosting this event. By Rail
The nearest railway station is Leicester, and The Venue is just twenty (20) minutes walk away.
By Road
The Venue can be found at 20 Western Boulevard, Leicester, LE2 7BU.
A limited number of disabled parking spaces are available near the venue; please indicate on the booking form if you require one.
Other pay and display parking areas are available around the city, within a short walking distance of the venue.

Building entrance is around the corner from the car park (as marked by the E in the red circle on the below images)
