This is an online event from hosted on behalf of the Mercian Staff Development Group (MSDG). The last two years has changed recruitment practice for many of us, when a rapid shift to online recruitment was needed in Spring 2020. This has offered both opportunities and challenges to recruiters and candidates alike. Join us for a chance to share our lessons learnt from these experiences and reflect on what recruitment may look like in the future.
Speakers at the event will include: Teresa Jordan (Head of Library Service Delivery, Birmingham), Priya Mehta (Academic Liaison Librarian, Coventry) and Cheryl Gardner (Senior Library Manager – Student and Academic Services, OU). Additionally, a panel of newly recruited library staff will be on hand to share their first hand experiences of joining their library services through a fully online approach.
