Recruiting Online and Being Recruited Online
This is an online event from hosted on behalf of the Mercian Staff Development Group (MSDG). The last two years has changed recruitment practice for many of us, when a rapid shift to online recruitment was needed in Spring 2020. This has offered both opportunities and challenges to recruiters and candidates alike. Join us for a chance to share our lessons learnt from these experiences and reflect on what recruitment may look like in the future.
Speakers at the event will include: Teresa Jordan (Head of Library Service Delivery, Birmingham), Priya Mehta (Academic Liaison Librarian, Coventry) and Cheryl Gardner (Senior Library Manager - Student and Academic Services, OU). Additionally, a panel of newly recruited library staff will be on hand to share their first hand experiences of joining their library services through a fully online approach.
