Conference 2023 - Speakers Information
This page contains information for speakers at the Mercian Collaboration 2023 conference.
Key Dates:
- Wednesday 8th March - Call for speakers announced
- Monday 27th March 2023 - Conference Speaker Support Session (1)
- Wednesday 19th April 2023 - Conference Speaker Support Session (2)
- Wednesday 3rd May 2023 - Deadline for submitting your proposal
- Mid June 2023 - Speakers will be notified if their paper has been successful
- Tuesday 7th September 2023 - Mercian Collaboration Conference
Session Formats:
The following session lengths are expected to be included in the programme:
- 15 minute presentation
- 30 minute presentation
- 30 minute interactive workshop
- 45 minute interactive workshop
Preparing your Session:
For more help with preparing your session, contact our Speaker Support team members. If you are new to public speaking, or would just a bit of support to boost your confidence, you may also wish to attend one of our speaker support events.
Eligibility:
Only speakers from Mercian Collaboration member organisations, or people working at other UK academic libraries are eligible to register their interest as speakers.
