A range of opportunities for commercial organisations to support the Midland’s premier annual academic library conference have been announced.

The Mercian Collaboration’s annual conference, established in 2017, represents a celebration of developments and activities across the 23-member institutions. Last year, the one-day event in September, saw almost 100 regional library representatives brought together in one place. While the conference insists ‘rank is left at the door’, notably delegates ranged from library directors through professional and specialist staff to front line assistants.

This year’s conference (subtitled ‘New to You’), to be held 11th September 2018 at the University of Birmingham, is for the first time being opened up to sponsorship from library supplier and other commercial organisations. A range of attractive sponsorship packages to suit all budgets are available, starting from just £500.

Additionally, there’s also a chance for a number of organisations to book exhibition space, and have a physical presence on the day. With a potential audience spanning the entire UK Midlands and all region HE academic libraries represented, the Mercian Collaboration Conference 2018 truly is a great way to meet current or potential customers, share product updates or simply to promote your services.

Spaces are limited – so grab the unmissable opportunity to be represented at the Mercian Collaboration’s conference while you still can!
