Mercian Collaboration Welcomes New Member

The Mercian Collaboration grows in size as new academic library joins from October 2017.

Dave Parkes, Chair of the Mercian Collaboration, is delighted to announce that a new organisation will be soon be joining. From 1st October 2017, the 22 founding academic institutions will welcome Simon Bevan and the library staff of Cranfield University into the fold as their newest member.

In keeping with the other members, Cranfield’s staff will participate and contribute to events, be represented on special interest groups and engage in other project initiatives across the Collaboration’s increasing range of activities.

On behalf of the other Directors and library staff, the Chair warmly greeted Cranfield on board, at what is an exciting time in the development of the Collaboration. He highlighted the anticipated valuable contribution and insights they will bring will help further enrich the Mercian Collaboration experience for everyone.
