Women and book shelves

This is an online event brought to you by the Mercian Metadata Group. It will take the form of an online eForum, using chat functionality. Following discussions and suggestions at earlier events, the theme this time will be Shelf Ready Materials/Electronic Data Interchange (EDI). As with the previous Legacy Data event, the forum will adopt a structured/guided conversation approach and be hosted by the MMG Chairs.

Issues covered are expected to include: licences, source of records, record quality, management of records (e.g. use of normalisation rules) etc., However, delegates are encouraged to propose their own additional topics to the event hosts ahead of time.

Audience: All staff with interests in data creation, cataloguing and good metadata practices

Technical Requirements: Internet access and a web browser.
