Virtual Networking Event (Remote Support & Post-Lockdown)

This is the third in the highly popular series of virtual networking events, set up to allow library staff across the Collaboration to meet with colleagues from across the region and share their experiences. The event structured around informal discussions of issues of current interest, concern and debate among library staff within the region. It will once again use the Zoom video conferencing platform to allow attendees to speak to one another face-to-face.

Attendees will be encouraged to shape discussions and topics themselves, two broad areas of discussion will be tackled at this event to initiate discussions:

  • Achieving effective remote support for learners, staff and team members
  • Practicalities, expectations, & well-being in the post-lockdown libraries

Audience: All library staff

The event be hosted by Laura Waller (MDF Chair, Warwick) and Gareth J Johnson (Mercian Collaboration). To ensure everyone has the opportunity to speak, spaces on this event are limited to 20. You can find advice on using and installing Zoom on the Collaboration's website.

Note: This event is limited to staff from Mercian Collaboration member organisations.
