All The Same, But Different: BCU

This in-person event will be hosted by Birmingham City University (BCU), on behalf of the Mercian Staff Development Group.

Birmingham City University Library and Learning Resources invites Mercian members to visit the Curzon library for a tour and the opportunity to hear presentations on Special Collections, music stock management and a session on acknowledging staff achievements. There will be breakout groups to have discussions with other attendees of the day to share ideas and best practice.

At this event we will share with you approaches to promotion which encourage staff, students, researchers and alumni to engage with our Archive and Special Collections.

Secondly, a lightning talk by one of our Library Advisors on missing music parts.

Finally, a session focusing on how we acknowledge our staff’s achievements and work being done on staff development within library and learning resources.
