University of Nottingham:  Delivering library services in a post-covid environment

The Mercian Staff Development Group is delighted to announce our first virtual and interactive All the Same, but Different event! This is an opportunity to experience an introduction to the University of Nottingham, their staff, services and facilities. There will be a number of short presentations followed by a chance for delegates to ask questions and answers, along with some small breakout discussion groups. Previous All the Same, but Different events have been designed as opportunities for staff at all levels to explore and meet their counterparts across the Collaboration's membership. While this one will be hosted online it will retain the same friendly, engaging and relaxed ethos for which these sessions are famed!

Session Details

Delegates will have the opportunity to hear how library staff are adjusting back from a health & safety focus during the COVID-19 crisis, to inspiring productive online and in-person customer interactions, now and in the future. Secondly, the event will look at the new ways staff are working as an ILL team at Nottingham, following the adoption of RapidILL and offering a space to discuss and reflect on the different models currently in place, across the Mercian Collaboration, to provide document delivery to library users.
