Conference 2018: Cancellation Policy
While attendance at the Mercian Conference 2018 is free to delegates, there are costs involved which are this year being met by the Mercian Collaboration itself and external sponsoring organisations. This means non-attendance as well as blocking other potential delegates from attending, also incurs administration, catering and facilities hire expenditure for the Conference.
If you are unable to attend the event for any reason, you must contact the conference team (mercianconference@gmail.com) and choose one of the following options:
- Substitution: Nominate a substitute delegate. Please, provide us with their full contact details. Notification must reach us, no later than 5pm Friday 7th September.
- Cancellation: Cancel your booking. Notification must reach us no later than 5pm Monday 3rd September.
Non-Attendance Charge
In the event of a non-attendance by a delegate without prior notification, the Mercian Collaboration reserves the right to invoice to recover the full delegate place costs (approx £70). Exceptional circumstances will be taken into consideration by the Mercian Conference Chair in levying any fee.
