Public Transport
The easiest way to reach campus is from Nottingham railway station, via the Nottingham Express Transit (NET) trams. The station tram stop can be found up the stairs within the station, and you buy a ticket on the platform with cash or card. You need to catch the tram heading for Toton Lane, and get off at the University of Nottingham stop. The ride takes around 15-20 minutes, and trams depart around every 15 minutes. Trams heading back to the city leave on a similar schedule.
There are buses to the campus, but morning traffic can make them problematic, and you are advised to take the tram instead.
Parking
Parking is available on campus either with a delegate voucher or by using the pay and display visitors car park (marked on the map). Delegates with vouchers may park in any normal, none visitor (marked with a V) spaces. Pay and display ticket machines take cards and cash, but do note it costs around £10 to park for the day. To request a parking voucher, please contact Jennifer Brotherton (J.Brotherton@wlv.ac.uk).
Further information on campus parking is available: https://www.nottingham.ac.uk/estates/security/carparking/home.aspx
Note: Traffic to and around campus can be extremely busy during the morning and evening rush hour periods, and delegates driving to the site are advised to allow at least an additional 30 minutes to their anticipated travel times.
