Directors Board (March '23)
The Spring meeting of the Mercian Collaboration’s Directors Board will be hosted in-person on Tuesday 21st March 2023 at Aston University.
This meeting is an opportunity for the Director representatives of each member organisation to exchange experience and updates, as well as input into the overall direction and operation of the Collaboration.
The meeting will be an oppurtunity to progress governance and other regular items. Discussions will also include the upcoming changes to the membership of the Mercian Collaboration Steering Group.
Additionally, there will be an invited speaker: Gary Elliott-Cirigottis, from Open University - who will give a brief presentation on Recruitment Lifecycle; work arising from the after Lockdown Dynamic Workforce event. This is expected to prompt round-table discussion on the topic.
Audience: Attendance is open to Member Director representatives, or their nominated surrogates, and any invited guests.

Format: This is a pysical 'in-person' meeting.
Location: This meeting will be held at Conference Aston - Conference Centre & Hotel
Aston Street, Aston University Campus, Birmingham, B4 7ET.
The conference centre is next to the Library. Further details can be found here - https://www.aston.ac.uk/about/visit. (Looking at the PDF version of the campus map, the conference Centre is No 5 on the map, while the library is No 6). The meeting will be held in conference room 3.
Getting here: It is recommended to arrive by public transport as Aston University is in a clean air zone and charges apply.

Please note: that there may be bus strikes on the day of the meeting, so please plan your journey accordingly.
