Marketing & Communications Group - Group Remit

The purpose of the Marketing & Communications Group is to share good practice, experience and knowledge around marketing and communications practice with other practitioners in a friendly, supportive and collaborative environment.

The group aims to:

• Investigate and share current marketing and communications practices and frameworks within Mercian Collaboration member organisations.
• Collaboratively seek solutions to shared problems.
• Recognise value in diversity of approaches and take advantage of the varied experience and backgrounds of the membership base.

The majority of these goals are achieved through regular (2-3 times a year) meetings of group members online or, where safe and permissible physically, for discussions. Additionally, occasional themed workshops and events promoted to the wider Collaboration membership may be hosted too.
