An golden opportunity to re-experience and reflect on #Mercian17.

Following last week’s ‘fabulous’, ‘well-organised’ and ‘wide-rangingMercian Conference, the presentation slides from most sessions are now available. In addition, most speakers’ sessions were also recorded, meaning there’s more than one way to relive the conference now it’s all over.  Or even better, listen in to those sessions you just weren’t able to make!

Additionally, the evaluation forms have gone out to every delegate, giving them the crucial opportunity to shape the plans for the Mercian 2018 conference. As the first ever Mercian Conference, we were shaped by the contributions of the speakers and staff from across the region’s member institutions.  Going forward, we hope to continue to mould future conferences to meet your professional development needs, desires and expectations.  So, if you were a delegate please do fill them in and return them as soon as possible, and if you’ve not had one yet, do let us know.

In the meanwhile, the Conference Group will be meeting at the end of October to review both the conference planning processes, as well as scrutinise the feedback.  Group Chair, Emma Walton, and team are really looking forward to developing our next major event on the back of the lessons learned. There will also be a chance in the coming months for additional library staff to come aboard the group and lend their insight to planning…#Mercian18!
