Mercian Collaboration Board: Agendas & Minutes

The Mercian Collaboration Board is the Collaboration’s principal governing body, comprised of representatives from member libraries at the very highest level of seniority*. The Board meets twice annually, normally March and October, to hear from invited speakers, discuss crucial academic library issues and exchange experiences. Where directors are unable to attend Board meetings, another senior library staff member is normally expected to be deputised to represent their institution’s position.

The Board also defines the Collaboration’s future strategic and operational direction and are ultimately responsible for defining membership criteria and annual subscription levels. However, it generally devolves practical implementation of these matters to the Steering Group.
