Annual Report 2020 Published
The latest annual report from the Collaboration provides insights into the regional responses to an extraordinary year
The Collaboration is delighted to announce the publication of the Annual Report 2020. As, departing Chair Diane Job commented ‘2020 was an extraordinary year’, and this document is a snapshot of how the Collaboration and its members responded to that year.
Alongside essential information about the Collaboration, its governance, operating frameworks and aspirations, the annual report also offers readers an easily digestible guide to the key events during 2020. Moreover, all constituent subgroups provide brief reports on their own activities, in the wake of what was a challenging twelve months for everyone.
Additionally, and as in previous years, member library services were invited to provide insights into their own activities during the past year. These in particular provide a fascinating window into how many academic library services in the UK Midlands region met the challenges of 2020, displaying initiative, innovation and inspiration in equal measure.

The report will be formally presented to the Directors Board today, as one of the final tasks of the outgoing Chair and Steering Group members. It has already been submitted to the Board and Executive of SCONUL, the Collaboration’s parent organisation.
