Cancellation Policy (2022)
While attendance at the Mercian Conference 2022 is free to member delegates, there are costs involved which are once again being met by the Mercian Collaboration itself, supported by external sponsoring organisations. This means delegate non-attendance, as well as denying other potential delegates from attending, also still incurs administrative, facilitation and organisational costs for the Collaboration.
If you are unable to attend the event for any reason, you must contact the conference team (mercianconference@gmail.com) and choose one of the following options:
- Substitution: Nominate a substitute delegate. Please, provide us with their full contact details. Notification must reach us, no later than 10am Monday 5th September 2022.
- Cancellation: Cancel your booking. Notification must reach us no later than Friday 2nd September 2022.
Non-Attendance Charge
In the event of a non-attendance by a delegate without prior notification as detailed above, the Collaboration reserves the right to invoice to recover the full delegate place costs (approx. £75). Exceptional circumstances will be taken into consideration by the Conference Chair and Steering Group in levying any fee.
