This page contains the answers to frequently asked questions concerning the conference.
- What does it cost to register to attend?
- There is no charge for delegates to attend the conference.
- Who is edible to register as a speaker or delegate?
- While the main audience for this event is library staff at our member organisations, any academic library staff in the UK are welcome to register. Commercial organisations wishing to attend need to register at one of our upper sponsorship tiers.
- What is the venue for this year’s conference?
- This event is once again being hosted online, by Cranfield University.
- Is there an institutional cap on the number of delegate spaces as in some previous years?
- No, as in 2021, we will not be limiting how many delegates can attend from any organisation.
- How long is the conference?
- The conference is being hosted over two half days (6-7th September) for about four hours each day. The event will take place in the afternoon of each day.
- Will the sessions or slides be available afterwards?
- We plan to record and make available a limited portion of conference sessions. However, we will be asking all speakers to make their slides available too ahead of the event, to be shared afterwards.
- What is the Conference's Twitter hash (#) tag?
- If you are using twitter to discuss the conference, please use #Mercian22.
